Parents James, labourer and Sarah Ann (nee Moulder)
Sarah Ann married John Timms in 1865 and they had 6 children. John died in 1880 and Sarah Ann Timms (nee Moulder) then married John Willis in 1886. They had two children - Albert Henry and Kate Louisa. Albert Henry Willis therefore also has 6 half-siblings.
John Timms' parents were James Timms (b. 1801) and Ann Freeman (b. 1811). One of their great grandchildren was Albert Thomas Willis (b. 1889) who married Louisa Brooks, sister of Charles Brooks (also on the War Memorial).

Attested in Oxford. Private 267453 I/Ist Bucks Battalion, then 267453; went to France 16th December 1916. Wounded by gunshot to face on 16th April 1917. Re-joined Battalion 18th May 1917. Killed in action 27th August 1917 aged 30 at the 3rd Battle of Ypres at Langemarck.
